Jazz City Choir is a jazz vocal group of 18 singers developing their repertoire under the watchful eye of a vocalist and Academy of Music jazz vocal teacher, Anna Gadt.
Jazz City Choir was set up by Małgorzata Korczyńska in November 2007, under the patronage of Centrum Łowicka.
In quest of their music, the group performed pieces of various styles, to finally dedicate themselves entirely to jazz.
The group took an opportunity of showing their potential by performing in many concerts, among them: „Koncerty Promenadowe” in Royal Baths Gardens in Warsaw, Dni Papieskie Zostań z nami for Polish Television TVP1, concerts at the S1 Studio of Polish Radio, or a Jazz Mass at International Festival Złota Tarka 2010 Old Jazz Meeting, where Jazz City Choir was also awarded a Special Award of STOART (Performing Artists Association) for „an excellent performance of jazz standards”.
